Little plastic puzzles on keychains were popular in the mid 1940s. Most drug stores carried them and they were displayed on rotating racks. There were many choices including different animals and figures. Each had its own key part for dissembling and reassembling the puzzle.

The variety was endless to little boys in the 1940s when they were trying to collect all the puzzles they could find and get permission to buy. This picture shows the small and intricate parts of each puzzle.
