This Korean doll was purchased in Seoul, South Korea in 2006. She is wearing her native costume. She flew many many hours to reach the United States of America and when her plane finally arrived at it destination it couldn't land because of severe thunderstorms. Her plane was diverted to another airport where it sat on the runway for hours before returning to its original destination. Once off the plane and into the airport terminal she was told her connecting flight was cancelled because the thunderstorms had moved southeast and were located in the area of her final destination. Fortunately, her new friend and traveling companion rented a car and drove to her new home in the U. S. of A. She is getting older now and plans to appy for a job at Samsung Electronics hoping it will help her memory.
