From rags to riches, this 15 inch fashion doll by Laiko. Someone enjoyed using what was available to make a fashion statement on this tall slim doll. Her white undergarments were made from an ol' sock and the over-dress was made from what appears to have been an unraveled scrubby. The use of soft pliable wire finished off her unique outfit. After getting cleaned up and having her hair shampooed and set she is now wearing a vintage Madame Alexander outfit. The striped blouse which has an attached slip is tagged "Madame Alexander NY USA". The satin skirt which looks like it goes with the blouse has an attached net petticoat. The doll is stamped 1993 on the back of her head.
