Segovia, Segovia, Castile-Leon, Spain is well-known for many reasons. The Roman aqueduct is one of its best highlights. Finished in 74 B.C., it is one of the better preserved of the world. The main span is 6 m; height 29 m; total length 623 m; number of spans 119. The piers and arches are made of stone.
